(Head office: Roppongi Hills Mori Tower 35F, 6-10-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo; representative director & president: Yasuki Ito) congratulates Tour staffer Ha-Neul Kim on winning 2017’s first JLPGA major event, the JLPGA WORLD LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP at Ibaraki Golf Club’s West Course in Ibaraki. That marks back-to-back victories, as she also captured last week’s Cyber Agent Women's Golf Tournament. Kim also won the JLPGA’s final Major last year, the JLPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup.

Starting the final round at Ibaraki as the sole leader, she scored consecutive birdies on holes 3 through 5. She then used her Honma TW737 FW to birdie No. 17 and clinch the victory. Kim finished the event at 9-under-par, winning by a three-stroke margin over her nearest competitor.
