Hot List Japan, a Golf Digest Online program organized to rate golf gear, announced its winning clubs today. Honma’s TW737 Vs irons were awarded a gold medal in the irons category. Silver medals were also granted for Honma’s TW737 fairway wood, TW737 utility, TW-W forged wedge and TW-PT blade-type putter.

■Introducing Hot List Japan 2017 Hot List Japan 2017 is a program covering the latest in golf clubs released in Japan between April 2016 and May 2017. Testers consisting of 17 professional and amateur golfers conduct test shots, according to prescribed conditions and testing methods. Total scores are then assessed to determine the winners of gold and silver medals in each of the following categories: driver, fairway wood, utility, irons, wedge and putter.
